Harrisons High Potency Fine Ground Formula is a tasty, certified organic, formulated diet made with human grade organic ingredients and provides the complete balanced range of essential nutrients required by your bird for a happy, healthy life.
It contains no artificial colourings, herbicides, pesticides, preservatives or chemicals which are likely to harm your bird and being a formulated diet it prevents selective feeding, a known cause of malnutrition in birds.
Harrison & pound; High Potency Fine extruded nuggets are approximately 3mm in size and are ideal for smaller parrots and parakeets or larger birds which do not like to hold their food in their feet.

Most suitable for medium and smaller sized parrots from cockatiel up to those weighing around 350g, and for those larger birds that do not like to pick up their food.
It is recommended for all sick or malnourished birds; birds with feather problems; and as the food of choice during the initial conversion period of all medium and smaller parrots and parakeets.
A beneficial feed for weaning all smaller parrots, cockatiels, etc and for the initial 6 months of life, for breeding birds and those living outdoors where a higher energy level is required.
Feeding Guide (approximate per day)
Feed fresh food daily, do not top off.
To help reduce waste, feed as distinct meals. Birds may eat all they want, but use the table below as a guideline.
Supplementation: It is not recommended to supplement with vitamins or other bird or animal food products. Supplementation should be limited to no more than 10% of the overall diet.
Offer certified organic vegetables and fruits in small quantities; select dark yellow meaty or dark green leafy items such as sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, winter squash, broccoli, parsley, spinach, mango or papaya.
For birds with suspected iron-storage disease: Avoid citrus fruits, tomatoes, kiwi, strawberries and other foods containing vitamin C. Avoid grapes, currants, raisins, liver, red meat, egg yolk or dark green vegetables such as spinach, which may contain high levels of iron.
